Examples of past PTA led events:
- TK/K BooHoo Meet & Greet: PTA members welcome the new kindergarten and transitional kindergarten caregivers in the Rancho Garden, with coffee and treats after they drop students off to their new classrooms on the first day of school.
- TK/K Milk & Cookies: PTA members welcome the new kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students in the kinder playground area, with milk and cookies after school on Friday of the first week of school.
- Coffee Corners: PTA members host caregivers at the lunch tables under the MPR overhang (by the main gate), with coffee and treats on select mornings of Rancho assemblies. View our website calendar or keep an eye on our PTA social media accounts to see if a Coffee Corner is coming up.
- Assemblies: Rancho assemblies typically run from 8:45 and end by 9:45AM. Caregivers are welcome to join. If you haven’t heard yet, Rancho assemblies are EPIC!
- Family Fun Nights: Rancho family fun night events are always free or low cost to attend. As a result, they are also the PTA’s most well attended community building events and are available to the whole family. Past events have included BINGO, movie under the stars, trunk or treat, glow dance and more.
- Rancho Running Club: Rancho students love to run and we are fortunate enough to have an amazing ¼ mile track on site, the envy of some other LVJUSD elementary schools. While many teachers include walking or running our track in their school days, the PTA organizes regular runs for students, caregivers and even staff, before school begins.
- Spring Fundraiser: Every year the PTA hosts an annual spring fundraiser, our largest fundraising event of each school year. In years past, some of the events the PTA has hosted have included an Uncork & Unwind event at Wente Vineyards, a Casino Night at the Bothwell Arts Center and for the last two years an on-site Color Fun Run at Rancho.
