When and where is Trunk or Treat?
The Rancho Las Positas 2026 Trunk or Treat hosted by the Rancho PTA is on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on the school blacktop. No early entry will be permitted unless you are hosting a trunk.
How do I sign up?
There is no need to RSVP for this event, however if you are hosting a trunk, please complete this form by October 23, 2026. *Please note, there are vehicle insurance requirements that must be provided to the Rancho Las Positas office staff the week of the event. More details on sign-up form.
Who can attend?
This free, family event is open to the Rancho Las Positas community. All children, including middle school and high school children, must be accompanied by parents- this is not a drop-off event.
Will there be vendors?
There will be three food vendors on site: Your Taco Guy, Fratelli’s and Mr. Softee. Proceeds will go directly back to the Rancho PTA to ensure we can keep providing the Rancho Racoons with events like the Trunk or Treat and various school needs. We will also be selling 2026 Trunk or Treat bags the week of to help you gather your treats.
Is there a meet spot for lost children?
We will have an “air dancer” located at the front of the blacktop so that families can use it as a meeting spot in case they get seperated.
Other Details…
Please refrain from wearing offensive or inappropriate costumes to the event. Please supervise your child/children while at the event. The playground is off-limits during the event. We will have the 2026 Trunk or Treat bags for sale the week of the event, but if you do not wish to purchase a Rancho treat bag, it is a good idea to bring on for your child/children to use to collect treats. There will be non-food treats available for those with food allergies. More details to come…
